  1. I rented an apartment in Beverly Hills from 2016-2021, which has its own rent control ordinance. I stay in contact with some of my former neighbors. One of them told me that a vacant apartment next to her that was listed at $2400 last week, and which has gone unrented for three months, is now listed at $4000. The landlord owns 14 properties in Beverly Hills and is a major donor to Gavin Newsom and Karen Bass. I'm sure he'll be in cuffs real soon 😂😂😂😂😂
