  2. A US Navy submarine torpedoed it. Motive, method, opportunity are the three essential elements of any crime. Russia lacks motive, although it has both method and opportunity. The US has all three (it's been pressuring Europe to buy LNG from the US instead of Russia since the 1990s, a US sub can easily destroy those underwater sections of the pipelines without being detected, and a US Navy group has been patrolling the Baltic Sea in that area since the summer). Case closed.

  3. It wasn't a boat, it was a US Navy submarine on stealth mode. When they're on stealth mode, no one can track them.
