  1. I realize Rubin or whoever monitors this channel will remove my remark, but the "good guys with guns" NRA-approved talking point is total garbage. Uvalde, Texas: 19 "good guys" with guns, tactical training, and body armor, stood by for over an hour while a bad guy killed 19 children and 6 adults. Since it's Texas, I assume every single parent at that school owned at least one gun. That didn't help, either. The good guys HAD guns. And did nothing. Putting guns and the ammunition needed to supply them in mass quantities on the black market makes it MUCH more difficult to get them. A gun on the black market is tripled in price, and mass shooters who are already struggling with mental issues are going to find it hard to connect to the "black market". It's not like the guns can be sold on Facebook Marketplace or there'll be some Bugs Bunny cartoon-style sign that reads BUY BLACK MARKET GUNS HERE. Doesn't work that way. Gun control won't eliminate this violence, but it's our best bet to reduce it and save lives.
