  1. I was once accused of wrongdoing at work, so I was put in charge of investigating myself. Amazingly enough, I was totally exonerated.

I've been cursed at, threatened, and even had a cop point a gun at my head during traffic stops (the gun was pointed at my head because I politely corrected the cop when he said that I didn't signal my turn. When I said "yes I did", he drew his sidearm and leveled it at me--he was bulging with what appeared to be steroid-induced muscles so I suspect "roid rage" in that one). There's a lot of out of control cops out there, and they are accountable to no one.
