  1. Yes. Asians and Hispanics in the US experience just as much racism as black Americans, but make far less fuss about it and just get on with life. Black Americans advocating for reparations for slavery dismiss any claims by Native Americans for reparations for the injustices done to them. As one of my students told me (a reparations advocate): "What black people experienced was like the Holocaust every day for four hundred years." Me: "European colonists wiped out 98% of the Native Americans and took 95% of their land. You're saying that's not at least as bad?" Him: "F**k the Indians, they got casinos." And thus concluded our colloquoy. Footnote: I would be willing to give black people casinos if they promise to stop whining.
