I find it fascinating that black Brits and black Americans have the same response to authority: automatic defiance and escalation of a confrontation into violence. Brits and Americans have many cultural similarities but the origins of our black populations are quite different (ours are descendants of slaves) and our policing cultures are remarkably different, too (our cops are armed like soldiers occupying enemy territory)...and yet black folks in both countries struggle with the simplest interactions with police and other authority figures (teachers, etc). It appears the unifying factor here is that black people in both countries have a victim mentality and have been told by leftists that they should be exempt from the laws and social codes that govern the rest of us in some bizarre overcompensation for racist discrimination in the past. Another factor is a culture of accountability: black Brits and black Americans refuse to take personal responsibility for anything and everything that happens in their lives, again the product of leftists telling black folk that society is hopelessly racist and that the individual efforts of black people doesn't matter.

The main group of people traumatizing black kids today are black adults.

@songsmith31a I was once pulled over by a cop in California in a case of mistaken identity. I remained calm, explained the situation, and was sent on my way. Black folks say "that doesn't work for us"--well, you'll never know unless you try it.
