The focus of BLM in the US is always on police killings of black men. In 2021, 7,056 black men were murdered in the US outside of police killings, 90% of the murders committed by other black men. On average, more than 20 Black Americans died each day from homicide. In 2021, US police killed 1,051 people. 20% of those were black--203 people. In 90% of the cases, the black victims shot at the police or threatened them with a weapon (BLM focuses on the exceptional cases where this is not true rather than the representative examples). Reducing black-on-black homicide by only 10% would save over 700 black men's lives every year, but eliminating all police killings of black men would only save 203. Yet the focus is on blaming white supremacy and the police rather than the black communities admitting they have a much bigger problem that has nothing to do with the cops. Accountability isn't a good rallying cry nor a very lucrative fundraising technique. Given that the top BLM leaders used donations to buy themselves mansions, turns out that the acronym stands for Bourgeois Lives Matter.

If any Brits are reading the catalog of violence in my prior post, be warned this is your future. You avoided it for a long time, but "diversity" and a soft touch when it comes to the criminal element will lead you down this path, too. Still time to stop it (I think), but I'd hurry if I were you. It's too late for us.

@tc5273 I'm a retired teacher and I had black students (nice kids) who informed with a straight face that the police killed "at least 100,000 black men a year". I showed them the statistics from the Department of Justice and showed that it was around 200. We had many incidents of racism in some of the schools where I taught, almost all of them perpetrated by black students against white, Asian, and Hispanic students. Despite the obvious racial motivation (to which the black students often admitted), the administration either didn't punish them at all or else gave them a punishment so light as to be meaningless. In one particularly bad case, a black student sexually assaulted two different white girls, and was not criminally charged nor punished internally--in facts, the girls' lives were made unbearable, and they both had to leave the school. I pressed the case with the police, which led to him being criminally charged and also unleashed a campaign of harassment against me which led to me resigning my post and going to another school. The other teachers saw what was done to me and learned their lesson very well, I'm sure. The reason I post on Simon's videos is because I know that whatever happens in the US eventually gets replicated in the UK. As I said, it's too late for us, but maybe Brits can organize to stop this. Most black folks do NOT want this--it's a minority of grifters who see their chance to get power and money and are going to seize it.
