  1. I like the retrofuturistic look and 1960s setting of this movie. The Fantastic Four are too geeky to fit into the modern era MCU. Alternate casting: Henry Cavill: Reed Richards Olivia Cooke: Sue Storm Rudy Pankow: Johnny Storm Alan Ritchson: Ben Grimm aka The Thing Cavill combines charisma with intelligence, Cooke looks younger than her 31 years and is a decent actress, Pankow has the bad boy vibe, and Ritchson is practically The Thing even before he turns into a walking rockpile. The villain: Doctor Doom, played by Nikolaj Coster, aka Jaime Lannister. Alternate: The Mole Man, played by John Bradley. The casting of this film isn't bad but it could be better. Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards and going straight to Galactus as the villain, plus making the Silver Surfer a chick, are all fatal mistakes. I'm a member of the IDGAF+ community on this one.
