  1. Reverse the races--a black ex-Marine kills a white man who is threatening people--and Hochul and AOC would be calling the ex-Marine a hero. The ex-Marine in this case. Daniel Penny, says he didn't intend to take Mr. Neely's life, but he did. Is that enough to bring a charge of involuntary manslaughter? I feel like we aren't being told the truth about Mr. Neely's actions that day, because three people thought it was reasonable to restrain him on the subway. Three people. Why did they do that? The city government of New York, including DA Alvin Bragg, have helped create an atmosphere in which vigilantism was bound to occur--and now it has. But no government official will ever take responsibility for creating this environment. Mr. Neely was arrested forty times and had an outstanding warrant for assaulting a 67 year old woman; why was he roaming the streets and not confined to a mental hospital or jail?
