  1. There are federal and state student privacy acts that prohibit that kind of monitoring. Those laws exist for good reason. You can't just train the camera on teacher--the kids would be included and they have a right to privacy.

  2. I was a teacher for thirty years and what I just saw in those clips is wrong. "Pronoun pins" for PRESCHOOLERS? That's NONE of the teacher's business. The teacher who ranted at his student and called him names? Needs to not be teaching. He should be fired, if he hasn't been already. No, don't tell me you can't fire teachers because of our unions. Not true when it comes to abusing students. You can be suspended with pay (just like cops who are accused of misdeeds) and then get a hearing. Everyone should have rights at work.
