I know some crew members from Mad Max: Fury Road and they said that Charlize had several meltdowns on set, was chronically late (delaying difficult outdoor shootings), and was generally a gigantic pain in the ass--and she played the "I feel threatened by Tom Hardy because I'm just a GIRL!" card. There's a reason why the "Furiosa" movie is being made with a different actress--nobody on that set wants to work with Charlize Theron again.

  2. My money's on Charlize in the fight--her mom killed her dad and got away with it, so Charlize has likely inherited that masculine-style aggression and killer instinct. According to Charlize and her mother, Gerda, Charlize's father, Charles, fired first through a locked door, and then Gerda returned fire, killing Charles. South African authorities said it was self-defense. My older sister is a retired cop and she wondered how Charles could've missed all three of his shots at the same range as Gerda's, all of which hit Charles. IF Charles fired first, and was uninjured at the time, at least one of the bullets should've found their target. But a man who has already been shot and is dying might not have very good aim--or perhaps the shots from his gun were fired AFTER he died of his gunshot wounds? The "self-defense" shooting was in 1991, and the South African police accepted Gerda Theron's account of events at face value. But Gerda's and Charlize's story wobbles severely under closer scrutiny.

  3. I have no problem with ADULTS going to drag shows. Mothers (and it's ALWAYS mothers) taking their minor children to drag shows is child abuse, no doubt about it.
