  1. Tax capital gains as ordinary income. Why do stock sales get a lower tax rate than income I earned by going to work? Doesn't make sense unless you want to favor the rich in our tax system, because that's who owns 90% of the stocks. A tax on unrealized gains doesn't make sense, either.
