  4. Kamala has been an alcoholic since her late 20s--started drinking heavily when she was Willie Brown's mistress. Willie was also an alcoholic at that time, but I do believe he's been in recovery for a long time. Sadly, Kamala has fallen off the wagon many times, including now.
