  2.  @Suitcasehandle  I made my 4th and final visit to the UK in 2008. The decline in the cities, esp. London, was shocking. I'll never go back.

  4. I always thought of British coppers as no-nonsense types but the new breed appear to be quivering masses of dough who think their primary job is to not confront troublemakers because, you know, troublemakers might make more trouble.
