All they have to do is bellow BREXIT and JOHNNY FOREIGNER DID THIS and the British public will grant them powers that make martial law look like anarchy. I've lost all respect for the British public because they voted in the very obvious disaster that is Brexit for one reason only: xenophobia.   15. I'm a former US Air Force intelligence officer, fluent in Russian language and culture, specialization was Sovietology (it was the 1980s, after all). There's no way Ukraine can breach this new Maginot Line without direct intervention (air support and ground troops) by NATO itself. I see from the comments that the liberal Call of Duty players crowd are parroting the lies that Ukraine is pushing the Russians out of the country. Russia controls 90% of the territory it's annexed and will have to battle for control of the border areas. No, I'm not going to debate it with people who don't know what they're talking about (and are likely Pentagon trolls and bots, anyway). Putin was never going to lose this war. Prolonging it only prolongs the misery of the Ukrainian people and, secondarily, its terrible effects on the European peoples and their economy.
