  44. I taught at City College of San Francisco. I had many students who had felony convictions on their record because Kamala's office "stacked charges" (charged the maximum) to get them to plead guilty. It ruined their lives. One of my students, a sweet, funny guy, did eight years for "intent to distribute" because he was caught driving to a party with a bag of weed he was going to give to his friends. Kamala took away eight years of his life and the five after that he needed to get back on his feet. He was never bitter or angry, but he's a better man than me.
