  1. I'm 62 years old. My older sister and I both recently retired. Neither of us have ever been to NYC and we thought we should make the trip at least one time because it's one of our country's great cities--it's one of the world's great cities! I don't think that trip will ever happen now. The turmoil caused by the Democratic politicians going soft on criminals and coddling illegal aliens is just too much for us. We cancelled our planned trip to Chicago for the same reason. I feel like a foreigner in my own country. Any other American citizens feel that way?

  3.  @september9113  I've lived in Oakland and Los Angeles, and I mean the very worst parts of those towns, so I'm not easily scared. It's more than just safety: we don't feel welcome in New York City. We don't want to support their foolishness with our hard-earned money.

  5. In California, Newsom gave the illegals hiring preference and access to unemployment benefits, when they've never paid one penny into the unemployment insurance fund. And he wonders why his state is flat ass broke.
