The most disturbing part of this is that people still speak to Lily and Bonnie as if these two women are sane. They're clearly not. Our society's values have degenerated so far that we can't even recognize and acknowledge madness now.

I believe the term is "suicidal empathy". You identify with other groups and culture so much you refuse to protect your own.

The Scottish were the first to deep fry chicken with breadcrumbs and seasonings.

Muu muus will never not be manufactured

There's no such thing as cultural appropriation. There's only cultural sharing. You'd think Americans of all people would know this. We're a melting pot.

It's the Neo Award for dodging every bullet

They're LARPers.

@evesapple I have a teenage neighbor who asked if I knew about this Lily Phillips thing. I said 'yes'. "Can you believe people are JUDGING her?" she asked indignantly. "No one can tell her what to do with her body! IT'S HER BODY!" My neighbor is being raised by a single mother. That doesn't surprise you, does it?

I had an uncle who thought he was a chicken. We thought about taking him to a psychiatrist, but we didn't do it because we needed the eggs rimshot

I'm with you. I find the fact that Kamala has climbed this high in our system to be deeply disturbing and a sign that our political system has decayed to the point of near collapse.

I notice the body positivity movement doesn't apply to men. That's because we're expected to take accountability for ourselves.

I was a teacher for thirty years, and some of my students were Gen Z. Gen Z has two problems: One, it's been sold the idea that a regular job is for losers. You have to be a "star" with a glamorous lifestyle or your life is worth nothing. Many of them appear to believe that. Two, regular jobs just don't pay enough for Gen Z to afford a decent apartment, a car, etc. Those who do work hard put in a dollar's worth of effort for a penny's worth of results. It's very discouraging. I've even had a Gen Z assistant near the end of my career. She was a bright young woman but lacked social skills and the confidence that comes with them. That's what comes from growing up with a phone glued to your hand.

That's more like a fivehead or a sixhead at this point.

When I was young and cute, girls in my class tried to ask about my personal life. I told them I was married and that I'd tell them anything else they wanted to know when they turned twenty-five.

And Nancy had to have two aides help her to her feet 😂😂😂

You're a real teacher and not an activist with a credential. That's the difference.

Not everyone can look like a runway model. I'm genetically lucky because I can eat whatever I want and stay thin, but I know not everyone's so lucky. My friends and family jokingly call me "David Bowie". Our diet in the Western world is junk. You rarely saw obese people when I was a child in the 1960s and 1970s and now they're more common than not. Any MD worth his weight in sawdust will tell you that when you're obese, just losing 20 lbs--not looking like Taylor Swift--will greatly improve your mental and physical well-being. Being obese was listed as a significant risk factor for dying of COVID19. Being obese also raises your risk significantly for Type 2 diabetes, some forms of cancer, cardiovascular disease, etc. Obesity is the #1 medical crisis of the Western world, and Ms. Tovar ain't helping.

Like, literally! And it's so humiliating and degrading that I have to record it and publish it for the world to see!

When I was married, and I asked my wife to wear a pretty dress that I thought made her look even more beautiful, she was always happy to oblige--and I dressed to please her as well when we were going out. Now, young men get a spiteful child with oppositional defiance disorder instead of a caring, giving woman. I wouldn't marry if I were a young man today. There's nothing in it for them.

There are NO black Nobel Prize winners in any of the science fields (there are some in Literature and Peace). It's all white folks. I'm just sayin'.

The trad wives are cosplayers. No traditional woman displays herself on TikTok and Instagram for clicks and likes. And trad wives accumulate an army of simps, same as the so-called "girl bosses". A plague o'er both their houses.

This is the Golden Age for black racists. If you're wondering where this came from: a man named Barack Obama failed spectacularly at improving the lives of Americans and especially black Americans. Obama covered up his failure by stoking up racist divisions in a country that spent decades atoning for, and healing from, those divisions. Obama unleashed this on us. Thanks, Obama.

Odd how the trans folk embrace gender stereotypes (dress, lipstick, makeup, high heels) as signifiers of "womanhood" while claiming to defy traditional gender rules. I think they're a bit confused.

Other than medicine, electricity, the automobile, air travel, the internet, mass book printing, space travel, the cellphone, and satellite communications...what have White people ever done for the world?
3
Yes, she's lying. Her army of simps are so gullible it's laughable.
3
My grandma said, "Don't listen to any historians, the Japanese emperors were black." It's peculiar that so many black people don't seem proud of African history; they're always trying to insert themselves into European and now Asian history. They're the only group that does so.
3
@dcae Not for a starting wage. That's after 20+ years in the classroom and she needs to pay her rent today, not in 2044.
3
Do these people even matter? It seems they're mostly talking to themselves and to people who already agree with them. I doubt they're converting anyone with any sense at all to their views. Sometimes the best way to deal with lunatics is to just ignore them.
2
Some? You mean most.

"Elections matter. And when folks vote, they order what they want — and in this case they got what they asked for."--Kamala "Totally Not a DEI Hire" Harris I'm back after a 48 hour commenting suspension YouTube imposed because the above quote, with no editorializing on my part, was deemed "hate speech".
2
Media is "both siding" this. It's not both sides. It's one side spewing hate and inciting violence.

What have the Romans ever done for us...

You must be very young or lead a sheltered life. This is just the First Circle of Hell. It gets far, far worse than this.

I've stopped caring. The incessant whining about everything has caused me to tune out for my own sanity.
1
Can't face up to their own failures as a culture and so they need someone to blame. White people are not holding black people back. The #1 enemy of black people in America is other black people.
1
Rachel Zegler is definitely the type of person who'd sue a man who rescued her from drowning and performed life-saving mouth to mouth.
1
If we're so dangerous, shouldn't non-white people be a LOT nicer to us?

Racial discrimination has been going on for some time. I applied to colleges with a 4.6 GPA and a 1592 SAT score and was turned down--in 1980. My classmate and friend, who is black, had a 2.4 GPA and 1260 SAT and was accepted at my first choice school. A 1260 is a good SAT score (at the 82nd percentile), but being black at that time meant more than grades and SAT scores. Still does, I guess.

I'm so old, I remember when lunatics were medicated and confined to asylums for their safety and ours.

This is what happens when society removes all checks and balances on women's true nature. It's Girls Gone Wild. How do you like the world we made?
1
I'm a middle-aged white male and it took me nearly 2 years to convince a succession of doctors that (1) my shoulder was inflamed and (2) that I needed treatment. I was in so much pain I couldn't sleep. Then I got a shot and was better in three days--the same shot I asked them to give me for two years running. Doctors don't believe patients when we tell them we're in pain; they're biased against pain treatment and it's not racism.

European slave traders didn't go traipsing through the jungle to catch African slaves. They bought them at the coastal slave markets where slaves were being sold BY OTHER AFRICANS.
1
Racism always fails in the long run as a strategy. Always. It's the last resort of desperate people who know they haven't got anything to offer but hate. They'll destroy themselves and the rest of us in the process, but they won't make anything positive out of this. Nothing good ever comes out of hate.
1
I noticed that 90% of the self-hating white leftists are women. Feminism has really been fatal to the West.
1
I'm fine with this if they also mock Islam. Paris would be burned to the ground, of course, which is why they don't.
1
Once the Equality Act passes--and it will, because we all said gay marriage would never be the law of the land and now it is--no government entity, state or local, will be able to keep men masquerading as women from women's bathrooms, women's sports, etc. The #1 supporters of the Equality Act? Women. The #1 opponents of the Equality Act? Men.

Only weak people blame others for their problems. The demand for transphobia, homophobia, and racism far exceed the supply, so it has to be manufactured. This is tearing our country apart and we have to tell the perpetual victims that they can complain until the Sun burns to a cinder if they want, but we're deaf to their claims. Only way to stop it is to ignore it.
1
As a white person, I can honestly say I almost never think about black people until one of them throws a childish tantrum and demands (fill in the blank)--and even then, I don't think about them for long. Some of the black folks appear to think about white people every waking moment. I can understand their obsession, because we're so much cooler and far more successful than they are, but their jealousy is getting out of control.

I was a teacher for thirty years and it was tough for me to get started, too. Schools want you to have experience so they're not hiring an untested novice, but they want someone else to give you that experience. The starting pay for teachers is appallingly low. Older teachers have to teach a full load of classes, so there's no time to mentor younger colleagues, and voters refuse to pass even modest tax increases that would allow districts to pay a decent wage. You'll probably end up leaving the profession soon, which is sad, because the ones who leave are usually the ones who care the most.
