  1. RBG could've retired during Obama's two-term presidency. She was 76 when she was diagnosed with cancer for the second time in 2009. Obama could've fought for Merrick Garland's appointment instead of rolling over for Mitch McConnell. Either of those would've made the difference today.

  2. Actions have consequences. Barack Obama refused to fight for the Supreme Court nomination of Merrick Garland. Just rolled over and played dead for Mitch McConnell because the Obamas were too busy shopping mansions in the Hamptons and negotiating their Netflix and book deals. Ruth Bader Ginsburg, the patron saint of feminists, was treated for colon cancer in 1999, had surgery for pancreatic cancer in 2009 (when she was 76 years old), and had cancerous lesions removed from her lung in 2018. RBG could've and should've retired in 2009 so Obama could appoint her replacement, but RBG was angry at Obama because he beat her hero, Hillary Clinton, and RBG wanted to hold out for a woman president. Roe v Wade was overturned 5-4. Obama's two appointments would've made today's decision 7-2 in favor of upholding it IF RBG had put the good of all women above her own ego and IF Obama cared enough about women to fight for Garland's appointment.
