Comments by "Daniel Bradford" (@Falconlibrary) on "US considering responses if Putin uses nuclear weapons" video.
I was USAF intelligence in the 1980s. Our strategy then, which was wise, was to let the other side know EXACTLY what we'd do, and they did the same. We launch, they launch. Mutually Assured Destruction. Why are we talking about this like it's not mass suicide? Because that's what nuclear war is.

Putin's not a madman. Biden is.

"Contingency plans" for World War Three. I'm so old I can remember when the US President wasn't batshit insane.

I was USAF intelligence in the 1980s. The use of "tactical" nukes will trigger the use of "strategic" nukes, which basically ends the human race. This is madness and yet people are discussing this like it's an actual option of people in their right minds. God damn you all to Hell.

"Threads" was actually optimistic because people survived for a decade afterwards. In matter of fact, we won't survive more than a few months, if that.

I was USAF intelligence in the early 1980s, tasked with verifying Soviet compliance with the Salt II treaty. The Soviets never cheated. Know why? Because their leadership wasn't insane, and neither was Reagan. Biden is either senile, psychotic, or both. Once you start thinking about nuclear war as "winnable", you've destroyed a psychological barrier that's the only thing preventing the extinction of the human race. Hell, maybe we deserve it if we can't do any better than this.

I honestly don't see how we avoid World War Three at this point. Not one leader willing to stand up and say "no" to this madness. The human race, consigned to extinction by a bunch of halfwits, psychotics, and cowards.
