  2. I retired from a California teaching job three years ago and moved out of state, establishing legal residence there. California is demanding that I pay income tax IN California, even though I'm not a resident, because I "derive" my income from the state. But I also have to pay state income taxes where I live. How is this legal? Constitutional?
