I was in a gun store recently here in Kentucky, and there were black customers buying guns. One of the store clerks is a black man, a former Marine. The black folks were accepted and treated same as everyone else, as far as I could see. If gun owners are all white bigots, wouldn't the store only hire white people and be unfriendly and unhelpful towards black customers? I saw the white store manager sign up two black men for shooting lessons, the sneaky way we white racists do. The Founding Fathers included the Second Amendment as part of our Constitution for a reason, and the right to bear arms is enshrined in our legal system. If Ms. Anderson and her liberal friends don't like it, they can try to amend the Constitution to take away people's guns. Good luck with that. By the way, it's "news stories" like this that have caused me to halt my member contributions towards NPR. I'm not giving you money so you label me and my family racists.
