  2. Thanks for reminding me why I left the Bay Area in 2014, after 20 years there. The decay and madness was noticeable then and now that fire has become a raging inferno. This is the death spiral of not just San Francisco but Oakland and all the surrounding towns, all of them in an unstoppable descent. San Francisco has been destroyed before and a better city rose from the ashes. This time? I can't say. "Just stay the hell away from them."--Scott Adams
