  1. If a single mother had built that treehouse, she'd be interviewed on local news and lauded as a Strong and Independent Woman (SIW). I left California because of the proliferation of Karens like the neighbor who complained about this treehouse. Neighbor threatened to call the federal authorities because I fed the squirrels walnuts and did call local cops because the sound of me watering my patio plants was "disturbing the peace". California is a dystopian nightmare.
