In Syria the Russians were curbstomping a foe multiple times their inferior, and in fact Syria is part of the reason Russia thought they had a good military when they don't. Russia isn't moving slow, they're throwing meat at defensive positions. It's not some kind of careful tactical movement, it's an atrocity against mankind. 2. Russia started resorting to S-300s in ground attack mode and Iranian drones. This proves correct the claim that they are running out of missiles. If they weren't, they'd use their best missiles only.
