  1.  @harrybriscoe7948  The problem isn't how cold it gets, it's how bad winter conditions are in a frontline. Russian troops suffered frostbite in Ukraine in the early days. Russia might be colder. But bad/missing winter gear doesn't protect you like your heated home and winter clothing in civilian life.

  2.  @Baz.007  An air drop will get shot down by anti air systems. Airlift by helicopter would have to be done into Chornovaikava in the outskirts of Kherson - that airfield has been struck about 30 times so far and Russian equipment keeps getting destroyed there as a result.

  4. Not really. Russia's consolidation efforts are hindered by the fact that all their occupied territory is unsafe for military occupation. Every other day either an HQ or barracks was hit. When your officers keep dying, and soldiers are killed in the beds they sleep in, there's not much hope.

  7.  @locybapsi174  If you had followed news, you'd have understood that Ukrainian officials themselves said that you wouldn't notice the counteroffensive as it was ongoing. All this time they were probing the lines, and we first heard of the breakthrough from the Russian side. But the offensive had been ongoing for a long time until it spilled over.

  8. Time is not on Russia's side. The longer it takes the more officers die in HQ explosions, the more their artillery barrels will explode (happened yesterday), the more ammo depots get turned into fiery infernos. The Russian MoD lies. Every single day they lie. They hit a building and claim it's HIMARS. So just assume the opposite happened.
