  1.  @locybapsi174  There is no similarity with Kosovo. Serbs were comitting genocide and got bombed until they accepted a peace deal and international peacekeepers. Then years later Kosovo declared independence. Another big difference is that Kosovars are an ethnic group, the so-called republics in Ukraine were not started by a true ethnic movement but by Russian nationals with no connection to the land like Igor Girkin (FSB agent).

  3.  @prplt  But even those who dodge the conscription get called. You'd have to actually leave the country until the age limit lapses, because those who ask for deferment in case of health/education also are elegible for mobilization.

  4. Jesus at least have some sense of self-preservation. Do you know what's out there in Ukraine? The enemy soldiers already gained experience taking out your best soldiers. You think that with two weeks training and a rusty AK they won't hesitate to get the drop on you before you even realize they're coming? You will not find anything worth dying for by going to Ukraine. Please preserve your life.

  8.  @Frunze91  They can't use the gas lines as leverage anymore. Could have been an attempt to tank stocks, a threat to the new pipeline from the north, or a way to avoid having to respect contract agreements.
