@casbot71 They were greeted as liberators, I remember seeing the crowds cheering when the Saddam statue got toppled. It was the Ba'ath party and Iran-lead militias that decided that prolonging the war was a good idea.

That makes no sense. First, they would have trouble towing back a tank during active combat. They're having trouble towing their own damaged tanks. Second, things get lost in wars. Tanks were lost in Kherson. But the Russians fled with the tail between their legs. Sure, they destroyed a tank, but the collective number of tanks made them run. They're going to run empty handed back to Moscow and say the tanks are obsolete? Then they admit defeat versus obsolete tanks. Humiliating.

China doesn't want to support Russia's war over ethnic separatist republics because it would justify supporting Xinjiang, Hong Kong, etc fighting off the CCP and declaring independence.

They're not launching NLAWs. Did you not see Kharkiv and Kherson? Ukraine can defeat Russians with full combined arms assaults. That's not guerilla, that's full fledged maneuver warfare. In fact the Kharkiv offensive started very similarly with a flanking maneuver the Wehrmacht did against the Red Army.

Heavy tanks were used in Kharkiv and Kherson. Air superiority is preferable, but not required. The air space is funnily enough not being contested. Russia also doesn't dare contesting it due to density of SAM and MANPADS present.

You can't run across a field with a Javelin on your back and take over a city or town. Stingers were declared obsolete by the US and a replacement will be picked.

@henrybn14ar Negotiations simply delay the next assault.

Cope. Russia was involved in Vietnam. Did the USSR declare war on the US?

The victim mentality is hilarious.

@prunabluepepper They're still reporting on Iran - specifically every time a protester is sentenced to death.

Abrams fixed the fuel issue, there's repair depots in Europe because Poland has purchased some and the US deploys to Europe, and there's a ton of old tanks to serve as donors.

@advancedomega Russia will simply leave. They simply left Kharkiv. They simply left Kherson city. Look the bully in the eye and beat him senseless. He'll back off.
1
@advancedomega In Putin's perspective, the US didn't even need to show up and he still got beat. Bakhmut has been close to falling for 6 months. You think this is a threat? Russia died at Bakhmut. The depopulation through conscription and human wave attacks will seal Russia's fate.
1
@advancedomega If they don't want Ukrainian land, they can leave. Retreat is permanent, if Russia can't advance.

It's JP-8, and Australia uses diesel in their Abrams.

14 Challengers from the UK, 14 Leo 2 from Germany, 28 Abrams from the US. So that's 4 months of ass kicking. Kharkiv took a week, Kherson about two months. How far will Russia retreat in 4?

We are sparing Ukrainian blood. We're guilty of paying for Russian gas with their blood, it's only fair we give them what they need to limit losses.

Britain is one of the countries that pledged to support Ukrainian territorial integrity in exchange for their nuclear stockpile. Also, Russia conscripted the Donbas people and used them as bullet sponges. That area will not be a problem, the deportations and press ganging have caused Russia to actually help Ukraine ensure that the area will be empty of Russia supporters.
