  4. Which is why it's so pathetic. The meme republics were actually used to war, while the regular Russian army was completely unprepared. They had zero drone doctrine and many units had to write down their own on the fly with no support from superior officers. Ukraine also baited Russia into converting quadcopters used for recon into drone drop drones. Problem is, attack drones go down more frequently than recon drones, which mean the glorious Puccia artillery lost significant long range spotting assets.

  5. Short range, depends on frequencies, all it takes is for someone to put receiver antennas on drones and triangulate the handheld jammer to sling a mortar round straight down his head.

  7. They can't be hacked when using custom firmware. They can get the command signal overwhelmed by jamming, which forces the drone to land. However this is also dependent on the frequencies being used/jammed.

  8. But Ukraine purposefully used the videos for psyop. By releasing so much drone drop footage they taunted the Russians into converting recon quadcopters into attack drones, which degraded Russian artillery effectiveness. There's a lot of complaints on telegram from Russian soldiers who are losing artillery spotting to drones being sent to drop nades and ending up shot at or taken down with EW.
