  2.  @Harshhaze  yeah, you try and fill in the paperwork to get a captured AK into the US as a war trophy in the 21st century. As if the average CO is anything but a paternal autocrat who believes the peasants shouldn't be armed.

  3.  @Harshhaze  You can't bring in the receiver because of the 1989 import ban and you can't bring in the barrel because of the 2005 machine gun barrel ban. Even if you somehow get to capture an AK, manage to smuggle it out of the disposal pile without anyone saying anything, stripping it to its parts kit, mailing it back home and then building it from a flat... That's still only 1 AK out of every 100 that gets smuggled rather than destroyed on site and in the end it's gonna be a 74 that you can't get 7n6 for. I mean I get that you can get 5.45 ammo from other manufacturers but the whole magic of 74s was the 7n6 spam cans. You went through all the trouble of smuggling a weapon under the nose of the military when you could have just paid for a 7.62 AK.
