The government doesn't give freedoms... Freedoms are born with you, and then the government takes some away. The consitution doesn't exist to give freedoms, it exists to try and prevent the government from taking them away...

I have talked to many servicemen online who were perfectly willing to spread their asscheeks and take a shit on the constitution despite the oath they took. The absolute best is the fucking Navy who spent all his time inside a submarine and shot an M16 maybe twice in his whole life thinks "assault weapons" need to be banned. So no, serving in the military doesn't teach constitutional law. The whole point of respecting the military is because it's supposed to be a thankless job. If you served so that your opinions are more valid than others (even when they're blatantly incorrect) then you're not performing a thankless job, you can talk all you want about patriotism and serving the country but if you do that, you served for yourself and nobody else. Pure self-interest. If you want to come here and boast about your selflessness about serving, then stop pretending to be a higher class of citizen. This isn't Sparta or Starship Troopers. And again, this isn't about hate. You're literally defending a pledge written by a fucking socialists. Socialists hate America. Forcing people to chant that fucking thing is anti-American.

@codybassett112 schools are explicitely there because bosses needed moderately educated factory workers and made the government pay for Prussian model education. Getting up and sitting down according to a bell and having to ask someone if you can take a piss is nothing more than training people for 19th century factory work.
