"Don't Let the Capitol Riot Reignite the War on Terror" as if we had a say in the matter

Of course that Snopes gets it. They're trying to get Babylon Bee demonetized. If someone shoots your hat off you don't say "silly person, you're not supposed to shoot people" that person was aiming for your head! It wasn't a silly mistake!

The barrel making technology is unironically simpler than the Ghost Gunner. Also, remember that Cody's battle cry years ago was "we're going to make them ban the internet". They love making new laws? With each new law they piss off more people who had nothing to do with guns because the laws have to progressively go after non-gun items.
66
@npc_yakub the TSA also misses 95% of the guns and bombs smuggled by "red teams" testing the security. So what?
48
Edgy atheists are anoying. Puritans and fundamentalists are annoying.
47
Considering that the NRA has been backing an ATF re-designation of bumpfire stocks as machine guns and the red flag laws/fix NICS, creating a NVGA would be like handing the governmental regulatory wrath to the whims of the Jack Thompsons, Anita Sarkeesians and gamejournos soyboys of the country.
31
@WingWheeledHussars If words matter then let's go back and check everything every politician said.
29
@Andrew-th8jk All the people willing to kill are willing to break little rules, so you don't lower the "bad" uses. Either way, how many bump stocks were turned it?
27
@WallStreetMaster Gary "Bake that cake" Johnson.
27
1:50 and 3:03 Daaaaaaaaaaaamn...
26
@Hans "The people will back the government like always in the American history." - you mean like in the Revolutionary war? bahahaha what a story, Hans.
26
ReasonTV also made videos exposing those organizations. Foot in your mouth, man. This is about evils of the government, not pointing fingers at other countries.
25
@poodlescone9700 funny how the votes started jumping for Biden everyone said it was because his voters stayed home and mailed in the ballots, but now they're in the streets as if there was no pandemic. Lmao anyone with half a brain can tell we're being played.
25
You see, because the media painted everything "conservative" and non-republican as "alt-right", and then started using the term to refer to the minority of neo-nazis and white supremacists. Now ancaps, minarchists, libertarians, etc are also neo-nazis by association.
23
People are making mandrels out of wood/3d printing them with notches for copper wire, to use in a process called electrochemical machining. Basically you leave salt water running through the barrel, the mandrel covers the surface you want to leave intact and the metal in proximity to copper wire is corroded away. Since the mandrel is notched with helical patterns the barrel comes out rifled.
23
@ProdByPrivateJoker It's an incredible paralel. Germany kept invading countries like Russia. The allied nations didn't want to anger Germany so they allowed it. Like Russia was allowed to invade Transnistria, Crimea, Georgia, etc. Poland triggered a major conflict because it was the last straw. Ukraine was the last straw.
23
@ryanjudy2119 lmao yeah let's wait for 400 to 500 million guns to wear out...
22
@sophiet-union Boy what a can of worms your decided to open by bringing up "things that actually matter". You sure you want to start the checklist of things citizens should not be permitted to do because it's directing energy towards things that don't matter? Do you want energy rationing?
21
@TheRealPingu the cycle threshold for the PCR testing was straight up lowered Jan 20 to reduce false positives. We had almost a year of manufactured data, and we reacted with manufactured responses that turned out to be unscientific. It's not about what's real. It's about what we perceive as real.
21
@33greenleaf dude dogs can't understand uniforms if they see an unknown person invading their family's home they will try to protect it. How the fuck do you control your dog when you're being handcuffed or during a no knock raid?
21
@Eckster The issue isn't having a serialized item, it's the fact that serialized items can have their purchase limited. If I can just buy it I don't care if it has a serial, the problem is when they tell me I can't buy it. Or that all the purchases are monitored (they already are with credit cards but that's another topic).
20
+Eric Stamps a serial number isn't a GPS beacon. If you commit a string of murders with a serialized gun and then destroy the gun (or get rid of it in a way that it's never found) all the cops can do is confirm that all the murders were committed with the same gun (if the ballistic fingerprinting goes right, and it's honestly an unreliable science because even cleaning the bore will alter the striations put on the bullets, bullets often are recovered too mangled to compare, etc). If you throw it into a storm drain and cops find it 2 weeks later they will trace it to whoever purchased it from a FFL. The first owner might have reported it stolen, or he might have sold it legally in a private sale and stolen then, etc. so you end up not knowing who used it to kill people, who threw it out, etc. Recovering bullets from crime scenes won't give you the serial number of a gun. Even if you have the serial number of the gun it doesn't give you it's location or who owns it. Tracking guns doesn't work the way you think it does.

@33greenleaf or they got the address wrong. And dude, they do no knock on credit fraud. A guy who killed a cop (and was found not guilty because self defense) on a no knock was originally being arrested for credit card fraud. Either way, ever heard of due process? Someone getting arrested doesn't mean guilty. Stop thinking like the military. My point was you can't claim people should control their dogs when they're fucking being arrested. How do you control your dog when handcuffed or being restrained by a couple of 200lb men?
18
+tarstarkusz Katz would have the judge throw it out. It was so infuriating.
16
@lol-dm8wx Have you read Harry Potter? Since we're talking about fairy tales.
16
I think it's funny that people say that migrants are moving for ideological reasons rather than desperation, while knowing that Californians moving out of state and voting for the same policies that drove them away in the first place is an issue.
16
"The greater good" has also been a justification for genocide, ethnic cleansing, etc. >If you're so selfish and won't share anything, gtfo You mean share even MORE than people already share with a government that spies on it's own citizens, kills innocents with drone strikes, etc etc?
15
@zakichoudhary507 They had control of the nukes. The fact that they had a sticker saying "property of Soviet Union" doesn't mean much.
14
@docequis9796 Dude is spamming dozens of comments. It's mental illness.
14
@TheBrokenLife exactly. Even regular people are out of touch with what is possible. People don't understand that designs like the aforementioned Luty SMG only take a trip to the hardware store - literally, because a drill press angle grinder and a set of files will do wonders. We're talking about basic tools and hand-fitting, not thousandth of an inch precision. But people will act like it takes a fully stocked machine shop. Hell, I have seen forum posts of people experimenting with homemade nitrocellulose and recreating early smokeless powder, testing the result by actually loading it into cartridges and measuring velocities. But just the other day I got a self-titled "Master Loader" claiming it is impossible to reload ammo without access to commercial reloading supplies. People actually think 3D printing is just a matter of pushing a button, so let's make 3D printed gun designs and show them what they refused to see.
14
@fae ragan if I freak out at a dog that means I am justified in killing it?
14
@Foolish188 "Not asking crowds at his speeches to wear masks isn't anti-mask?" - No, because not asking for something is a neutral stance. "Maybe 100000 dead because Trump promoted anti-maskism" - You have absolutely zero proof for this.
13
@k14pc I mean invading and annexing territory based on protecting ethnic Russians is straight out of the Hitler playbook. It's exactly what Germany did.
12
How? Even if you took all the money from the 400 richest people in the US and this year's profits of every company in the Fortune 500, you still wouldn't have enough money to cover the deficit of this year, let alone all the debt that has been acumulated.
12
As opposed to the people telling teenagers to transition their bodies?
12
SweetLiberty01 So you're going to send US troops to wherever a US citizen is killed? Imagine if Australia did that when that Australian sportsman got shot by US teens.Plus, the response to US citizens dying is sending more US citizens to the meat grinder?
11
@bigvis497 The USSR also owned all of the Soviet military. And it had to be split among the countries. Ukraine is still using a lot of equipment that was Soviet and they inherited in the breakup.
11
A child that lied about her age.
11
The dictator is in Russia. Exactly where have you heard there's a dictatorship in Ukraine when the current president was elected in 2019?
11
@ricardocantoral7672 Backing doesn't pull triggers or suffer the casualties. Kabul had US backing. The ANA couldn't fight their way out of a wet paper bag.
11
@Wesley22619 yeah when a company isn't providing a good service you file a complaint. If they ignore you stop giving them money. Since I can't unsubscribe from the taxes that pay for police services, they're gonna hear our complaints until we are satisfied. Don't like it? Move to North Korea, where people can't complain about the police.
11
You're invading the dog's home and he doesn't understand the concept of a uniform or badge. By the same logic it's justified when cops corner a clearly mentally ill man who doesn't understand the situation and at the first sign he tries to protect himself he gets gunned down.
10
At least come up with a decent reason to not care, or don't even justify your decision to not care. You're allowed to not care about issues and not need to have a justification for it. But when you say that you don't care because Ukraine is corrupt, while ignoring that the invading force belongs to a country that's just as corrupt if not more... I just feel like I'm being duped.
10
@Digger-Nick He's saying that if prices were allowed to be raised, he'd have been able to buy alcohol. But because some states have anti-capitalist rules stating that you can't raise prices during emergencies, some dude bought an entire case he's not gonna use.
10
In some places the taxes actually make the legal weed just as expensive as the illegal weed, so the gangs are still active and selling. The whole point of legalizing drugs is preventing people from having to resort to the gangs and funding the violent crime that results.
10
+Jesse Bach don't blame the educational system just because you can't read between your own lines. You're blaming the doctor, who is in a position he didn't ask for due to the War on Drugs, rather than the opiate addict who is just chasing the high. You're here, on a libertarian-leaning youtube video, promoting the War on Drugs. Why?
9
@DieselRamcharger it's not a matter of blaming successful people, those who are successful don't need help paying for college. Those who are not successful will not benefit from the free ride.
9
@DieselRamcharger how am I a moron? OP said that middle to high income families would send their kids in a free ride to college, while impoverished families would have trouble sending their kids to college even if it was free. He's 100% right. Nobody is blaming successful people. "your parents hard work wasn't a sin." - nobody said it was, would you please stop saying things unrelated to the topic?
9
@holoholohaolenokaoi2299 I don't see why people are ganging up on him, he stated his opinion and then backed it up with a non-liberal source. Do you have any counter argument that isn't simply an insult?
