  2. So, I take it you can't handle sarcasm. The AK's were seen as evil because of their use by the USSR, and now by terrorists. Now the AR15 is seen as evil, despite the fact that it existed since the 50's and nobody feared it until the ~90's. >But Communism?   3. We have established that gangs are a big problem. However, their activity is backed up by guns, not caused by them. "Banning guns" does not have a great effect on crime reduction, as gangs would still have baseball bats and knives. Now, in Brazil gangs often make their own weapons.
