@BonnieBlue2A "When you are dying, your organs are too unhealthy for another life to depend upon" - bullshit, if you die from heart attack they check if your kidneys are fine and cut them out.

@marshaul "If you're dying, most likely nobody wants your organs." - beggars can't be choosers. The chances of a rejection are greater than an healthy organ starting to have problems even though it was unrelated to the cause of death.

@redlightmax child labour laws don't do a damned thing. Child labour was eliminated when it became possible to send kids to school so they can get better jobs. If the law says kids can't work, but you can't afford to send your kid to school, he's just another mouth to feed. He's gonna work, the law be damned. You know that's how it was in the past and still is in many parts of the world.

@mmcat2863 because it's absurd to assume that the state owns the bodies of every citizen unless they petition the government.

@mmcat2863 you can't use other laws to justify a new law or else it becomes a circular reasoning argument. "You pay taxes to live in America, so why can't we tax your freedom of speech or your right to vote? After all, your rights are already taxed." - See what I mean? You can't say "the government infringes on your freedom already" to justify new infringements. Although most developed nations have a legal duty to dispose, you can keep the remains after cremated. It's conditioned, but you can own the remains.

Taking the default position that the government owns your body unless you petition to be considered self-owned is not the answer.

@ColinTherac117 you can just go to a corrupt country and pay off a few people to do it. I mean, Epstein had a pedo island. If rich people have islands so that they can fuck kids, which is explicitly against the law in most Western countries I know off, I'm sure there's places that will look away from the "licensing" and "certification" aspect.
