You're blaming the doctor, who is in a position he didn't ask for due to the War on Drugs, rather than the opiate addict who is just chasing the high. You're here, on a libertarian-leaning youtube video, promoting the War on Drugs. Why?

  2. +Matthew Morton the issue here is that this is a libertarian-leaning channel, and the libertarian position is that you have the right to inject yourself with the nastiest stuff you can find because the government doesn't own your body. Oh, but you cause damage/hurt people in the process. Hell, we punish drug use rather than treat it so we just make the problem worse, people keep doing drugs and stealing/neglecting kids which means that government interaction has solved jack shit, and to make matters even worse punishing drug use increases it's price which means it becomes profitable to murder over drugs. Just like prohibiting the sale of alcohol made homicide climb like a rocket. Implying that we're addicts because we know that punishing drug use makes matters worse and we believe that the government doesn't own people is just low. Kindergartens have seen more civil arguments.
