When the Boston Bombings happened they reported them as the Boston Bombings. Not the Boston Terrorism. They're calling it a mass shooting, big whoop. Didn't the guy himself say he was a terrorist in his manifesto?

If I'm not mistaken that's a thing that derives from the 80's Soviet invasion of Afghanistan, where the Soviets introduced the 5.45x39 rifle cartridge, famous for tumbling and causing more damage to tissue than it's size would suggest. The locals called it the "poison bullet". The 5.56 tumbles and fragments at the cannelure, which also contributes for much faster incapacitation of the enemy. He saw the green tip, which merely means that the bullet has a mild steel insert to aid in penetration of helmets and kevlar vests at distance, and associated the green colour to the "poison" aspect.

Why would we want to test weapons we know work and are about to get retired anyway?
3
Russia was beat in Afghanistan and Chechnya round 1.
3
Very smart of the rats to flee the sinking ship. They know Russia is over.
3
Challo Bro we have footage of the victims being frog marched by Russian soldiers.

***** a) You don't know shit about psychological evaluations. It's a complex issue because to discover signs of psychopathy usually one needs three hours and a file with life events to cross reference everything during the interview. The kicker? Most mass shooters aren't even psychopaths. If you don't want to be helped and you have a plan to start a massacre, you're capable of hiding your mental illness from people who know nothing about you. b) I too enjoy getting mad at strawmen. Seriously, stop creating arguments inside your head and pretending to defeat them. It's a gun free zone, which is an invitation to massacres. If it wasn't, it wouldn't be such an obvious target for people looking to cause as much damage as possible. c) Then get 2/3 of the country to agree and stop throwing hypothetical around. It's not the job of the 2ndA to protect the people. The Bill of Rights is meant to protect the people from the government by limiting it's powers and not much more. You're the typical gun elitist. We got a lot of them here in Europe. And because of them, you probably wouldn't qualify for a Glock 19 over here. Sorry, even if you did you probably wouldn't get one because 9mm is considered "war caliber" in some countries and you can't get those.

@JSkye-uu6dw Afghanistan only had Blackhawks, Humvees, MRAPs and M113s. Pretty old, non critical stuff. In fact, China had already copied the Blackhawk and Humvee. It's just basic stuff.
2
Whataboutism, you bot.
2
15-18 of these kettles boiled Ruskies in Kharkiv.
2
There's a difference between SF, SOF and "special operation capable" units. Live fire exercises are a thing. Special Forces are meant to embed themselves into foreign countries in secrecy and train an insurgency force of locals, essentially making the enemy fight a war against its own country.
2
Whataboutism.
2
@tabularasa7775 People get called bots because they use the same canned talking points. When you respond to them they ignore, or use a flowchart style to reply. They have all the same talking points, like they're reading from a manual.
2
@kouloudgzima2299 before America sent their troops they were already committing attacks. The reason was US presence in Saudi Arabia, Somalia and support of Israel. Don't make terrorism about avenging innocent victims, it has always been political.
2
Terminators are not tanks, though they do use a tank hull. They're an anti infantry vehicle to support armor, to counter ambushes of the type they faced in Chechnya.
2
@clikclikboom123 if I go right now on google and insert the search term "violent koran passages" you think I'm gonna get 0 results?
2
+garaad MMc nonsense. We're always told Islam isn't to blame after an attack.
2
@thirdworldgamer8717 The majority of their storage is open air, exposed to rain amd snow. They also use the storage as source of parts for export customers.
2
The Boston Bombing was called Boston Bombing not Boston Terrorism. Shut the fuck up.
2
Challo Yes, it's fake. They stop recording as soon as the fire touches the man's feet. They clearly cut the video to stop the fire. Also, the man doesn't scream when the cross is being lifted and the weight of his body should cause the nails to put pressure on the wounds.
2
They have. Check back the last 20 years. Whataboutism. Bot.
2
And then Russians left Kherson. Tears are temporary, victory is eternal.
2
Your wishes will never be fulfilled. You will watch Russia's defeat.

Would love to but people wait 15 years to become citizens... legal immigration to the US is extremely hard.

*****>"Psychological examinations would at the very least prevent some lunatics from getting a gun" No, it wouldn't. First of all, mentally ill people are more likely to be victims of violence than commit violence. Be careful when throwing around the word "lunatics". If a mental health professional does not know what they are looking for, they cannot simply "dig up your demons". If someone is visibly unbalanced, they're probably either homeless or being taken care of by relatives. >""Most mass shooters aren't even psychopaths." That's probably the dumbest sentence I've read all day. Congratulations!" How about you read up on psychopathy, rather than use the "colloquial" meaning. >"Fighting fire with fire. Don't see a problem with that. (That was sarcasm. You're an idiot.)" Controlled burns are used to cut off wildfires and explosives are used on oil fires. Fighting fire with fire is something that exists in real life and it's very effective. How am I the idiot? NO, our gun control doesn't work. Many European countries either passed gun control due to tax reasons or as a knee-jerk reaction to the "Years of Lead". Recently, criminals have been making a new "R9-ARMS Corp, USA" which is a pretty good homemade submachine gun with clearly fake markings as the gun officially doesn't exist and is most likely made in the Czech Republic. My mother has worked in some bad parts of town. Criminals leave their guns on their dashboard so people know the gangs are patrolling their turf. The main difference is that the US is attached to Mexico and has a tough policy on drugs. We have decriminalized drugs so while any criminal can get guns, they have little profits in killing.

***** I also have to laugh at the fact you told me to sit down for talking about America, when you talk of Germany and Japan like you knew anything about those countries. I also like that you're telling other people about our gun control. We've implemented psychological evaluations. Well, here is a document about how the UK never implemented them: http://www.isn.ethz.ch/Digital-Library/Publications/Detail/?ots591=0c54e3b3-1e9c-be1e-2c24-a6a8c7060233&lng=en&id=98795 The PDF claims that there are no resources to put UK gun owners through such a system (now imagine 100 million gun owners), no money, it requires full cooperation of the subject (ie he has to say the truth), the problem of accuracy (once enough people get through, one can train himself to say the "right answers"), etc. When it comes to assessing personality disorders, again the accuracy comes in. Violence is too much of a complex behaviour to be predicted through a checklist of factors.

Ian Loughney Which would be consistent with how folklore is spread by word of mouth - suddenly you have stories of vampires and werewolves because a once real story changed a little every time it was told. To the uneducated hearing legends about poison bullets, and then seeing a green-tipped bullet dropping people, it seems like it's actually made of poison because what the hell does he know about bullet design.
1
The army didn't do shit, it was Washington.
1
In Syria, etc they're using StG44's from the former Yugoslavia with Serbian made 7.92x33 ammo. If they can get such an "outdated", specific ammunition that's only made by one factory, they certainly can get 5.56 NATO.
1
S C 5.56 "NATO" as in the caliber, which is called 5.56 NATO, not 5.56 NATO as in the STANAG 4172 standard. You can manufacture it to the 5.56 case specs, ie it's not .223 Rem, and never be meant to be used by a NATO country.
1
That's excellent satire.
1
@Ihavethebiggestmbappe he loves Russian prisons
1
Russia woild starve you just for a strip of land.
1
Because we promised Ukraine security in exchange for nukes. Want to back off the deal? Give Ukraine nukes. Then watch Moscow glow.
1
If you talk about peace, it's because you love Putin's war. You want to steal TVs and claim the police are violent for trying to stop you.
1
Buyers lining up for tanks with no spare parts, no training and no ammo. If you buy a bunch of stolen iPhones and iMacs, you get busted trying to buy dozens of chargers.
1
Russia was defeated in Afghanistan and Chechnya.
1
@mdtalhaahmed1582 Russia humiliates itself all the time.
1
Cope and seethe.
1
15-18 tanks defeated the Russian army in Kharkiv
1
@Khalid_Looby the tanks will roll through Moscow alright...
1
White doesn't mean Christian. He was wearing neo-pagan symbols.
1
Their leadership is using leashes as punishment against their men for rescuing the wounded. You love the Russian army so much, VOLUNTEER for them.
1
You've been saying that since March and despite not having their trained soldiers Ukraine already defeated Russia in Kharkiv and Kherson.
1
You probably said the same thing before your boys got slaughtered in Kharkiv and pushed back at Kherson. It's going to be fun to see the tanks shred mobik meat.
1
Because the algorithm that detects songs looks for repeatable patterns. Gunfire doesn't have a consistent patent. Plus things like a boxer hitting pads or fireworks could trigger the system and cause a bunch of shutdowns.
1
Ruski bot, whataboutism as usual.
1
Korea is selling the K2 to Poland and Germany will have a new tank design.
1
The war will be over sooner.
1
@goldfinga786able It's been a year and Russia, instead of taking the L, is depopulating itself. Burning things faster makes the flame go out sooner. Explosions are the fastest combustions.
