The average PLA grunt isn't any better than the average Army grunt. I would say they're probably much worse.

@someguy5444 So they're on equal footing, then. The PLA grunt is also someone who just learned to shoot last year.

@someguy5444 War isn't decided by gunfighting. Look at Ukraine, it's artillery doing most of the work. The point is, it's not discounting any threat. It's recognizing that a rifleman doesn't get specialized training. The conscripts spend 99% of their time not touching their weapon.
