  1. The $200 tax stamp? It's a pain in the rear, but compared to what 200 bucks were worth in 1934 I think it's not the most serious issue. And don't forget the even more serious issue of politicians secretly adding post-1986 machine guns to the registry so that they are worth pre-1986. I think that the $200 were easier to swallow if the ATF had enough employees taking care of the stamps and their laws actually made sense.
