I wouldn't trust a prototype with my life. I'd wait until the design/concept is proven. The reason KSGs are hard to find is not because of the demand, it's because of most them have to be sent back. I'd love to see it work, but it's just not well built.

You're assuming criminals are smart. Or that they won't do things "just because". We're talking about violent people, perhaps under the influence of drugs. >You want an "Assault rifle" Nomenclature. Please educate yourself in firearms.

>We live in a democracy FALSE. The US is a CONSTITUTIONAL REPUBLIC. > In fact, the poles show most people think something ought to be done FALSE. Most people support the 2ndA and most think that new laws won't solve anything. Most people also agree that a new AWB will not be effective.

The average shotgun spread is 1" per yard. Unless you're shooting at 16 yards you won't see that much of a "wide" shot radius.

>Well have you ever broken into a house where someone is pointing a 12-gauge at you ready to fire? I've also never done meth, coke or PCP. I wouldn't trust my judgement if I had. >As far as multiple assailants, there is nothing in my house valuable enough for a group of people to want to steal You keep telling that to yourself. Many break-ins are committed by groups because guess what - it's easier than doing it alone.

>being hunted by people willing to have a gun fight w/ you. I'm sorry, but if someone breaks into your house knowing you are there, they're in for a ride. Gunfight? They might have knives or blunt objects. >Many people get through life without a single gun in their home They do. But anything from 700,000 to 2 million people use their guns in self-defense every year.

If you look at the "hunting rifles" they were PUMP ACTION shotguns and semiautos such as the M1 Carbine in .30. It's not a hunting rifle, it was made for warfare. It is almost like the predecessor to the AR, it was an intermediate cartridge semi auto rifle fed from a box mag, and the M2 version had full auto. It was WWII's AR15.

>or are aware there's a gun in the house most home intruders will stick around? If you're on drugs, it's not such a stupid thing to do when you think about it. Guess what, lots of criminals get high before committing such high profile crimes because in enhances them.

>If someone breaks into my house and they see me holding a shotgun that enough is intimidating I've seen people holding shotguns for years and I've never shit my pants. >And remember, when you use a shotgun you don't have to waste as much of that AR ammo you have in the closet Maybe you should see what 55gr M193 or 77gr OTMs do at close range. You need the mag capacity for multiple assailants, not because they're .22LRs.
