You are absolutely misinterpreting the data for your own benefit. There is no increased suicide risk, there is an increased risk of the suicide method being a firearm. You can't measure intent to commit suicide nor how many people have decided not to kill themselves after considering suicide. You simply CAN'T use any phrasing you want because then the data won't support you. Having stairs at home increases the chances that I'll fall on those stairs, not my chances of falling to death.
