  1. I wouldn't mind the UBG check system in the country I live, it would be so much better. But in the US it's a state issue. It's an overreach of federal powers. Unless a private sale crosses state lines, it's not the federal government's business to tell me what to do with my property. Plus, in the US you already have background checks. The issue is that it was proven that to work, UBG checks would need registration. Without registration, people could still sell guns without asking for one.
