  1. Because liberals have stolen the word liberal. Liberal used to be someone whose opinions are formed with logic and reasoning, not prejudice. Someone who believes in freedom and less government. Now it means people who want more government and less freedom. Here in Europe we don't use the word "libertarian", because we still call ourselves "liberals". American "libruls" have deturped the meaning of liberal like misandrists have deturped "feminism".
