Seriously? Higher velocity means faster expansion, therefore faster loss of energy, ergo less penetration. It would be mass what would affect penetration more. I like how you're saying "No" before even searching for tests done that confirm the findings of Dr. Roberts.

From where? The panic of an assault weapons ban was enough to draw 9mm off the shelves, I'd imagine a SHTF would do it in seconds. The fact that it's common means that everyone wants it. Sure, you'll be able to use other people's ammo, but how often are you planning to come across dead people with their belongings still with them? Never count on ammo you don't have.

Dr. Roberts said that during testing .357 Sig is nearly identical in penetration and expansion trough heavy clothing, automotive steel panels, automobile windshield glass, interior wall segments, exterior wall segments, and plywood.

That would be true, if it used the same weights as .40 S&W. .357 Sig uses basically the same weights as 9x19. >I also did my own test Which is funny, because you have no results to show for it. Also, even if you had, it would still be backyard science and there's a lot of variables that could have fudged your results. >faster smaller projectile=better penatration Then why does .308 penetrate more than .223?
