@igors1234 That's like saying everyone in Africa is rich because they have diamond mines. Having fuel reserves doesn't mean you're extrating a surplus, having fuel doesn't mean heating boilers are working, and boilers working doesn't mean the steam is being piped into buildings without issues.

@igors1234 Again, you can produce. But what if you can't get the product to where it is needed? The Soviet Union produced grain, but needed to export it to finance their industry, which lead to food shortages. By your logic a food producer can't have famine, but the Soviet Union did. And again, pipes are bursting and the water freezing in several cities and towns in Russia, the infrastructure is in need of repairs and a lot of people who could fix those issues were forced to go into Ukraine.
