  1. Look into the Doctor's Plot in the 1950s. Beria and Malenkov tried to engineer a non-existent conspiracy against Stalin and blame the Soviet Jews. Arrests were made but Stalin's death meant the plan had to stop, so it is not known if they wanted deportations to the Jewish Autonomous Oblast. It was right after WW2.
