  9. A few were liberated in exchange for Putin's friend, Medvedchuk, but many are still POWs. Former Azov guys who were not in service when the war started formed Kraken, which is a unit under the command of Ukraine's intelligence services. There's Azov SSO which is a spec ops unit in the national guard and the Azov 3rd Separate Assault Brigade, but these are not the same Azov as the ones stationed in Mariupol. In fact 3rd Assault Brigade was formed with new recruits who volunteered to join after the war started.
