You've done nothing. You voted against a president in a country that allows you to do it. In Russia the votes are rigged. Putin owns even the opposition parties. The "real" opposition faces corruption charges and goes to prison. Your votes for them get "lost". Remember Yanukovych? The pro-Russia president in Ukraine? Look at 2004 - he won the Ukrainian elections. Through ballot stuffing and voter intimidation. That's how Russia rolls. But they didn't control the Ukrainian supreme court. In Russia?
