"And all the young men and women going into the US Armed Forces simply want to serve their country." - and they ended up in the desert rather than defending their homeland. "How about instead of you having a mental breakdown in youtube comments, you go thank them for their service." - But why, exactly? What did any of them do for the American people?

@weasle2904 in the US armed forces you have a low chance of dying in combat because we perfected combat medicine and ballistic protection to the point it's very difficult to die. You can lose your limbs and get paralyzed but by god, unless you're so close to an explosion you turn into pink mist or you get shot in the head, you're probably going to survive.
