In the West we have people who made a fortune last year and trust fund kids who were born into families that were wealthy a hundred years ago. The Russian system is 30 years old and essentially designed for oligarchy to absorb new money. If you make a bunch of money in Russia you either join the oligarchs or become one.

  3. ​ @j.w.213  in real life people lie and agitate. What happens? At most you can try to speak to others and try to convince them you're on the right, but sometimes people will simply side with the other person. There's hardly any consequences in real life, why should there be online?

  4. ​ @picklejuice4638  Yeah and what happens when nobody uses the anonymous social media? It's like shouting in the park, technically you still have free speech by being allowed to make speeches but almost nobody will listen to the crazy guy ranting.
