@Jukanella in news often the phrases "White House says" or "White House representatives say" to refer to the US. Much like "Beijing" means Chinese government and "Brussels" means the EU parliament. When referring to the UK if the Prime Minister says something it comes from "Downing St. 10" and if it's the Royal family it's the "Buckingham palace".

Even media from that time showed how bad things were in Russia. If people can't even get their history from pop culture then telling them to crack open the actual history books will not work. It's literally nobody's fault but their own.

@kindlingking nah they literally film videos complaining about the state of the frontlines and address Putin as if he's being mislead by his advisors. In some cases it's actual belief in a righteous leader who can fire his minions for their blunders and fix everything, and just pretending for the cameras to not get in trouble - after all, they're "protecting" Putin from the corrupt officials so they're helping the government rather than criticize it.
